The storage system (10) has holding elements (18) by which the material rolls (20) are mounted in a support structure (12). The holding elements are firmly connected at the front side with the support structure and protrude from the support structure. The holding elements are freely accessible from another front side. The holding elements are connected with the support structure and forms a grid structure with gaps and rows. The holding elements have different length. An independent claim is included for a removal- and transport system with a lifting arm.
