The method involves bringing a jaw model (8) to bear against a counter jaw model (9), where spacing between the jaw model and the counter jaw model is measured. A tooth of the jaw model and/or a tooth of the counter jaw model are processed with a condition/the spacing between the jaw model and the counter jaw model is identical and/or approximate identical with active spacing. A denture, which rests against a repair location (4') of the jaw model and antagonist of the counter jaw model is manufactured, if active spacing between the jaw model and the counter jaw model is adjusted.
