The hand-operated tool set has a tool (1) for generating a core hole in the cartilage-tissue or bone and another tool (2) for removal of the core sample remanent in the core hole. The former tool has a centering pin provided with a rotary protection for torque proof anchoring in the cartilage-tissue for centering. The former tool also comprises a core drill or crown miller connected with an actuating part. The core drill or crown miller or the actuating part surrounds the centering pin. A third tool (3) is provided for removing the constructs or reclaimed material incorporated in the defect. An independent claim is included for a method for the generation of defects in cartilage-tissue or subchondral bone.
