The method involves detecting a first rotation speed course (30) of a motor (4) before switchover of the motor from a mode (14) into a mode (16). A second rotation speed course (32) of the motor is detected after switchover of the motor from the mode (14) into the mode (16). The rotation speed courses of the motor are compared and confronted. The hop of the torque is recognized, if the confrontation of the rotation speed courses is departed from a predetermined condition (40). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) device for recognizing hop in rotational torque; (2) vehicle; (3) computer program for recognizing hop in rotational torque; and (4) computer program product for recognizing hop in rotational torque.
