The arrangement (10) has a sensor housing (34) i.e. plug-in sensor (12), inserted in a flow pipe i.e. intake tract. A bypass channel (26) is formed in the housing. A silicon sensor chip is arranged in the channel. The housing includes an inlet (16) in the channel, and an outlet (30) out of the channel in a surface (28) of the housing. The surface of the housing includes a stage (40) with an outline edge (44) downstream of the outlet when viewed in a main flow direction (18) of a fluid medium. The stage adjoins at the outlet. The inlet points against the main flow direction.
