The wound dressing device has a wound-contact region (2), a wound analysis region (5), a cover layer region and an evaluation unit. The wound analysis region is arranged between the wound-contact region and the cover layer region. The wound analysis region has a support unit with a sensor arrangement on a wound-facing side and a display unit on the wound averted side. The display unit is guided to the outside through the cover layer region. The evaluation unit is designed to receive sensor signals of the sensor arrangement and to control the display unit on the basis of the sensor signals to create an appropriate display to represent a wound condition.
