The system (1) has an industrial truck (2) with a fixing device (3) and has roller bases (4, 4 ') for receiving to-be-conveyed material (5, 5'). The truck has a mobile gantry (7) in direction of travel, and is moved with roller base. The to-be-conveyed material is arranged under mobile gantry. The fixing device is adjusted between a fixed position and a released position. The truck is fixed in fixing position of gantry such that gantry is pulled/pushed from industrial truck, and is moved over roller base with material in released position of truck.
