The system has a photovoltaic generator (1), where a direct current (DC) converter (2) is provided downstream of the generator. A supply and distribution circuit (4) is connected with a load (3) and a public, electricity supply network (5). The supply and distribution circuit controls or regulates a voltage at a load input by conducting electrical energy from the network to the load when an electric voltage at the input falls below a target value i.e. load nominal voltage, and supplying the electrical energy into the network when the electric voltage at the input exceeds the target value. The DC converter is a buck-booster converter.
