The method involves detecting temperature of LPG fuel in a rail (4) and comparing the temperature with a predetermined threshold. Pulsating LPG fuel pressure is generated in the rail if the predetermined threshold is exceeded. Rinsing of the LPG fuel is carried out from a fuel reservoir (2) before generating the pulsating LPG fuel pressure in the rail. A fuel pump (3) is switched on and off with predetermined frequency to generate the pulsating LPG fuel pressure in the rail. The fuel pump is controlled by varying power such that the pulsating LPG fuel pressure in the rail is generated. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an LPG injector (2) a device for controlling an LPG injector.
