The fork has an inner pipe (2) guided within an outer pipe (1) and a helical spring (8) operated between inner and outer pipes. An end of the inner pipe is closed and projected over the outer pipe. The end of the inner pipe within the outer pipe is opened. A stationary intermediate base (6) is utilized in the inner pipe, which is reversibly moved by the closed end of the inner pipe in a direction of the opened end of the inner pipe. A lubrication oil hole (5) is provided in the inner pipe, and the base lies between the closed end of the inner pipe and oil hole.
