The memory cell (1) has a lid (3) divided into a first region (4) and a second region (5), which is electrically insulated from the first region. An outer surface of the first region is used as a positive current tap, and an outer surface of the second region is used as a negative power-tap. A positive current collector contacts with an inner surface of a housing (2) or the first region. A negative current collector contacts with an inner surface of the second region. The housing and the lid are formed with no recess for current-conducting connection with the current collectors. The first region of the lid is electrically connected with the housing by welding. The first region and the second region are formed by plate-shaped elements.
