The manufacturing plant (100) has multiple work stations (110a to 110s) at which predetermined working process is executable. The work stations are formed as separate and uncoupled workstations. The working process is executed in clock-free manner at these work stations. Multiple unbound conveyors (160) are provided with which a to-be manufactured motor vehicle (150) is transported from a work station to next work station. A higher-level control device (140) is provided with which each of the conveyor is guided to next work stations according to individual working sequence.
