The device (1) has a cavity (2). A cooling fluid (3) is made to flow through the cavity. A turned first surface (4) is connected with the cavity and located to a battery unit (10) by pressurizing the cooling fluid in the cavity along a planar direction. The turned first surface is made of a plastic. A turbulence device (7) is arranged in the cavity. The turbulence device is connected with a second plate (6). A first plate (5) is formed at the turned first surface. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a battery unit (2) a method for enhancing a thermal contact of a cooling device for a battery unit.
