The device (1) has a closing body provided with an armature that is operated in a first pressure port (11) of the device. The first pressure port is provided with a second pressure port (12). A main valve (2) is provided with a pilot valve (3) and limited by a valve lift of the pilot valve. A throttle connection (16) is arranged between a main control chamber (10) and the second pressure port of the device. The main control chamber is hydraulically connected with a pilot control space over the throttle connection. The pilot valve comprises a pressure sealing part.
