The hair styling apparatus (1) has a comb-like molding tool (3) that is attached to one side of shaft (12). The molding tool is provided with tines (5) attached to the mold portions (7,7.1). A hair holder (10) is formed between adjacent tines. The other side of the shaft is provided with bristles (13) arranged corresponding to the tine series. The hair is inserted into the hair styling gap (11) located between the mold portions, during combing of hair with bristles, when the shaft is rotated along the longitudinal axis.
