The protective plating comprises, from the inside to outside, a nickel layer and a titanium nitride layer. A chromium layer is disposed between the nickel layer and the titanium nitride layer. The titanium nitride layer is covered by a lacquer layer. The lacquer layer maintains high surface adhesion of the layers. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a protective plating.
