CATALYST CONTINUOUS REGENERATION REACTOR WITH GAS MIXING AND GAS DISTRIBUTION CASE IN THE OXYCHLORIZATION AREA

The reactor 1 for the continuous regeneration of catalyst grains, is composed of an enclosure 2 comprising an oxychlorination zone 72 superimposed on a calcination zone 75 provided with a calcination gas introduction duct. A caisson 80 is disposed between the oxychlorination zone and the calcination zone, the caisson 80 being composed of an internal space 86 located between two plates 81 and 82 that are gas-tight and to the catalyst grains. The casing 80 is traversed by a plurality of tubes 85 allowing the passage of the catalyst from the oxychlorination zone 72 into the calcination zone 75. The caisson 80 is also traversed by a plurality of means 83 for passing calcination gas from the calcination zone at the oxychlorination zone. The reactor comprises at least one injection pipe 73 for oxychlorination gas opening into the internal space 86 of the box 80. Each gas passage means 83 comprises at least one orifice 89 communicating with the internal space of the box. Each gas passage means 83 comprising means 84 for discharging gas permeable gas and impermeable to the catalyst particles.
