Support comprises a deposit of titanium oxide (TiO x) on its surface, where x is = 2. Particles of TiO x have size lower than 6 nm, preferably lower than 2 nm. An independent claim is included for preparing a support, including generating a cold plasma from a titanium precursor, forming and depositing titanium particles on a support from the plasma of titanium precursor, oxidizing the deposited titanium particles, and obtaining the support including the deposit of TiO x.
