The device has motor elements (10) capable of transforming a movement into a varying electrical signal. The motor elements are arranged in a network having rows and columns equal to three times the diameter or largest dimension of the motor elements in a plane parallel to an image diffusion screen (14) to which the motor elements are coupled. Each motor element receives a delay signal on an individual basis. The motor elements are divided into groups, where each group receives the same delayed signal.
