Method for assisting automatic parking of vehicle i.e. car, in car park, involves positioning vehicle in free position or exit position, and allowing vehicle to move again from free position or exit position based on optimal trajectory
The method involves determining an optimal trajectory of displacement of a vehicle (1) i.e. car, and allowing simulation of the vehicle from a free position towards an initial position. The vehicle is advanced by steering of wheels towards a driving lane (12). The vehicle is again moved back from the initial position to the free position. The vehicle is positioned in the free position or exit position, and the vehicle is allowed to move again from the free position or exit position based on the optimal trajectory.
