The method involves detection of presence of an external media such as mobile phone, and transmitting a request to an authentication server for scheduling of remote consultation. Another request is generated and transmitted to the authentication server for allowing access to medical records via an electronic notification system (20). The latter request is transmitted to another authentication server. A session is opened between the electronic notification system and the latter authentication server, and the medical records in a medical server (50) are shared in the session. An independent claim is also included for an external media comprising instructions for performing the method for sharing access to a data file stored on a medical server.
