The method involves obtaining a set of images (10) that is representative of an inspection scene, and identifying beaconing targets (30) in each obtained image. The images are directed (40) according to homologous beaconing targets. A three-dimensional geometrical reference model is obtained (60) from localized images. An apparent element is rebuilt (70) in a three-dimensional manner from the model. A verification plan of a network e.g. water pipe network, is established (80) including the apparent element that is re-built and geo-referred in a predetermined geometrical reference frame. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product comprising instructions for performing a method for establishment of a verification plan of a network (2) a computer readable storage medium with instructions for performing the method for establishment of the verification plan of the network.
