The method involves placing a movable plug i.e. male plug (2), on an operating lever (40) so as to project the plug with respect to the lever in horizontal position when the operating lever is inclined. The lever is approached by rolling for positioning the movable plug opposite to a fixed plug i.e. female plug (1), placed close to ground at height (H). The device is swung vertically, so that lower end of the lever equipped with an adhering shoe (45) is placed on the ground. Rising of the operating lever is raised until complete introduction of the movable plug into the fixed plug. An independent claim is also included for a male or female plug connection device.
