The device has a triathlon handlebar comprising parts folded mechanically along an arm of competitor or fork of velocipede, where the parts possess a competitor starting function that is locally or completely useless during cruising speed. Retractile parts of the handlebar include tubes (3, 4) encased with each other. Sections of the tubes from farthest part of hanger part increase to allow fitment of the tubes. Articulations of the part of the handlebar are locked during a starting period and mechanically unlocked when the speed is reached to allow folding of useless parts.
