PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake motion estimation method in consideration of an earthquake response of a railroad structure, for evaluating an earthquake motion on the railroad structure, in consideration of an earthquake motion amplification effect.SOLUTION: In an earthquake motion estimation method in consideration of an earthquake response of a railroad structure, a parameter affecting a vibration characteristic of the railroad structure is extracted by utilizing observed fine motion, and the earthquake motion on the railroad structure is evaluated by multiplying together an earthquake response characteristic of the railroad structure determined from the parameter, a vibration characteristic of the ground, and an earthquake motion of the base.
