PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize highly-accurate and highly-efficient work when an operator applies a secondary inspection and repair process to a billet after a primary inspection and repair process.;SOLUTION: A support device 100 relating to the invention comprises: a storage unit 1 that can receive information obtained in a primary inspection and repair process P1; and a display unit 2 that uses a magnaflux method to visually inspect a billet B after the primary inspection and repair process and is provided in a secondary inspection and repair process P2 for repair by machining. The storage unit stores position information for a surface flaw detected in the first inspection and repair process and position information for a machined portion, in association with an identifier of the billet. The display unit receives the position information for the surface flaw and the position information for the machined portion, which are associated with the identifier, from the storage unit, extracts the position information for the surface flaw and the position information for the machined portion, which are associated with an identifier input in the secondary inspection and repair process, from the received position information, and then simultaneously displays both information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
