PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic agent effective in ischemia-reperfusion injury of a heart.;SOLUTION: The invention provides a method for treating ischemia-reperfusion injury of a heart using a therapeutic agent selected from a protein, polypeptide, peptide, peptidomimetic, nucleic acid, organic low molecular weight compound, antibody or a fragment or derivative thereof, soluble receptor (soluble CTLA4 molecule, preferably CTLA4Ig fusion protein), and aptamer, which can interact to at least either one of CD80 or CD86 polypeptide, the interaction interfering in the binding of at least either one of CD80 or CD86 polypeptide with CD28 polypeptide.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
