PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Li-based ferrite for a microwave-absorption heating element which is arranged so that a heat-up stop temperature can be appropriately selected in a temperature region of 550-700°C higher than conventional one.;SOLUTION: A Li-based ferrite for a microwave-absorption heating element comprises, as basic components, 15.5-18.0 mol% of a lithium oxide in terms of Li2O, and 82.0-84.5 mol% of an iron oxide in terms of Fe2O3.
