PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant propylene resin microporous film and a production method of the film which is excellent in both transmitting property for ions such as a lithium ion and heat resistance, and which prevents contamination in a production line.SOLUTION: The production method of a heat-resistant propylene resin microporous film includes the steps of: (I) applying a composition comprising a radical polymerizable monomer containing a polyfunctional acrylic monomer having 3 or more functional groups and a photopolymerization initiator on a surface of a propylene resin microporous film so as to deposit 5 to 25 pts.wt. of the radical polymerizable monomer and 0.1 to 2.5 pts.wt. of the photopolymerization initiator on 100 pts.wt. of the propylene resin microporous film; and (II) irradiating the propylene resin microporous film after the step (I) with UV rays in an integrated luminous quantity of 1000 to 5000 mJ/cm.
