PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a quantum entanglement photon pair stably both spatially and temporally.;SOLUTION: A quantum entanglement photon pair generating element is provided with: a single photon generating element (10) generating a single photon; two optical fibers (20a, 20b) having an end face of one end adjacent to the single photon generating element; and an optical coupler (30) coupled to the other end of the two optical fibers and overlapping photons propagating on the two optical fibers. A difference between the lengths of the two optical fibers is an integral multiple of a product of a cycle T by which the single photon generating element is excited and velocity of light v in the optical fiber.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
