PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a quantum entanglement photon pair stably both spatially and temporally.;SOLUTION: A quantum entanglement photon pair generating element is provided with: a single photon generating element (10) generating a single photon; two optical fibers (20a, 20b) having an end face of one end adjacent to the single photon generating element; and an optical coupler (30) coupled to the other end of the two optical fibers and overlapping photons propagating on the two optical fibers.
