PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect confidential data without unnecessarily restricting operation when a device is taken out of a specified area.;SOLUTION: A selling information registration processing device comprises: a main body part 12 which comprises a reading unit 13 for reading a commodity code uniquely allocated to a commodity from a bar code attached to the commodity; and a terminal part 11 which is detachably installed on the main body part 12 and comprises a commodity master 312A for storing a unit price for each commodity code, a transaction file 312B for storing the content of one transaction, a permission range information file 312C for storing a permission range which is position information permitted for use, an input/output unit 313 for inputting/outputting information, a position information acquisition unit 314 for acquiring position information, a communication unit 315 for performing communication, and a control unit 311 which is separated from the main body part 12 and, when it is determined that the position information acquired by the position information acquisition unit 314 is out of the permission range, locks a selling information registration processing program for performing settlement processing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
