PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an established cell line suitable for screening a substance regulating suppression of expression by DNA methylation of a clock gene, and a reporter assay method using the cell line.SOLUTION: The established cell strain which is a lymph cancer cell strain transformed by using a reporter plasmid including a reporter gene downstream of Bmal 1 promotor, and stably holds the reporter gene transcribed by the Bmal 1 promotor is provided. The screening of an agent for improving circadian rhythm disorders caused by DNA methylation of the clock gene can be performed by adding a specimen to be tested to a medium containing the established cell strain and time-dependently observing the intensity of light emission or fluorescence of a reporter protein.
