PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for performing vacuuming testing regardless of length of a pipeline extending from a penetration part.SOLUTION: As to a weld zone 6 between a shield plate 2 and a pipeline 4 penetrating through the shield plate 6, a vacuum chamber testing method for pipeline penetration weld zone is used for a test for confirming the presence/absence of leakage in the weld zone 6 by covering the weld zone 6 with a vacuum chamber 2 and vacuuming the inside thereof. A cut 1a is made in a part of each of a plurality of packings 1 which are ring-shaped seal materials, and the plurality of packings 1 are installed on the pipeline 4 such that the cuts 1a of the adjacent packings 1 are disposed alternately with each other in the plurality of packings 1. The plurality of packings 1 are pressed by a pressing jig 3 in a stacked state.
