PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cracking evaluation method for a concrete wall part and a design method for a concrete water tank structure.;SOLUTION: There is provided the cracking evaluation method for the concrete wall part of which a thickness dimension of a concrete wall of the concrete water tank structure is less than 1 m. In the cracking evaluation method for the concrete wall part, a minimum cracking index Icr is found from the following expression (1), and it is evaluated that the concrete wall part is free from water leakage when the minimum cracking index Icr is equal to or larger than 1: (1) Icr=2.320-0.0030X1-0.0256X2+0.0241X3-0.3322log10(X4), where Icr is the minimum cracking index, and X1 is a water-cement ratio (W1/C)(%); and X2 is an ultimate heat insulation temperature rise amount (Q∞:°C), X3 is a constant (γ) on a heat insulation temperature rise speed, and X4 is a ratio L/H of an induction joint interval L and a concrete casting lift height H.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
