PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high flame retardancy of an environment-friendly inorganic phosphorus-based flame retardant, because although conventionally, a bromine-based flame retardant and/or a system combined with antimony trioxide are widely utilized for achieving flame retardancy of a resin because of the high flame-retardant efficiency thereof, loads to the environment including residual contamination and dioxin formation are apprehended, and development of and substitution with a non-bromine-based flame retardant centering on a phosphorus-based flame retardant are advanced; however, a flame-retardant system centered on a phosphorus compound has poor flame-retardant efficiency while exhibiting a flame-retardant effect by the formation of carbon char and foam char in a solid phase.;SOLUTION: The flame-retardant polyester resin composition is provided, which includes a thermoplastic polyester resin, at least one inorganic phosphorus-based flame retardant selected from the group consisting of inorganic red phosphorus, an inorganic phosphorus-nitrogen compound, and a metal salt of organic phosphate, and at least one flame retardant aid of a 1,2-diphenylethane derivative and a diisopropylbenzene oligomer, wherein the content of the inorganic phosphorus-based flame retardant is 0.1-12 mass%, and the content of the flame retardant aid represented by the 1,2-diphenylethane derivative and/or an isopropylbenzene oligomer is 0.05-5 mass%. A flame-retardant polyester fiber, a flame-retardant material, and a method for producing the flame-retardant polyester fiber are also provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
