PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primer set for specifically and rapidly amplifying a nucleic acid derived from Arterivirus, and a method for amplifying and/or detecting the virus using the same.SOLUTION: There is disclosed a nucleic acid primer set for LAMP amplification used for specifically amplifying a nucleic acid derived from Arterivirus, wherein the primer set contains at least one polynucleotide selected from a group consisting of polynucleotides respectively indicated by a FIP primer, a BIP primer, a F3 primer and a B3 primer. There is further disclosed a method for determining the presence and absence of the existence of Arterivirus by using a reaction product produced by the LAMP amplification and a specific probe group immobilized on a substrate.
