PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve conventional problems that cattle excretes a large amount of the feed rice used as cattle feed without sufficient absorption when it is applied to the cattle in an original condition, whereas, when the feed rice is made into powder, a large amount of the feed rice is absorbed in the stomach and then the cattle is driven into fully fed condition intermediately, resulting in fault in supplying the cattle with a sufficient amount of feed.SOLUTION: The feed rice used as a cattle feed of the invention is prepared by roasting rice with chaff, grinding it and making it into powder. That is, by roasting the rice with chaff, the rice with chaff is puffed and softened appropriately. The puffed rice with chaff is ground into appropriate powder in which all rice has not been made into powder. Thereby, it is realized to suppress absorption by digestion in the cattle's stomach, to promote absorption by digestion in his intestines, prevent the cattle from being driven into fully fed condition intermediately, and supply the cattle with a sufficient amount of feed. In addition, by using the rice with chaff, it is provided an excellent feed rice in nutrition balance.
