PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving person warning device which can adequately provide a driver with a warning for the presence of a moving person.SOLUTION: A moving person warning device 1 includes: an in-vehicle camera 2 that takes a photographic image of the surrounding of a user's vehicle 10; and an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) 6 that detects a pedestrian in the taken photographic image and a direction towards which the detected pedestrian moves, generates a stationary state histogram of face direction that is a histogram regarding a direction towards which the pedestrian's face is directed when the pedestrian's moving direction is unchanged for a predetermined period of time or more and detects a difference between the stationary state histogram and a histogram regarding a direction towards which the pedestrian's face is currently directed. When the ECU 6 does not detect any differences between the histograms, for example, it is determined that the direction of the pedestrian's face is unchanged and the pedestrian is not aware of the vehicle 10, a warning unit 5 provides the driver with a warning for the moving person who is not aware of the vehicle 10.
