PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a regenerated carrier having good electric characteristics and magnetic characteristics.SOLUTION: The method for producing a regenerated carrier includes: a step (A) of separating a carrier component from a recovered used developer; a pulverization step (C) of pulverizing the obtained carrier component; a step (D) of mixing the pulverized carrier component obtained by the pulverization step with a new raw material; a granulation step (E) of granulating the mixed material; a calcination step (H) of calcining the granular material granulated by the granulation step to form a magnetic phase; and a resin coating step (K) of coating surfaces of the obtained carrier core material with a resin after the calcining step.
