The present invention relates to a bridge comprising towers, bridge deck, main suspension cable, as well as suspension hangers and diagonal cable-stays. The invention is characterized in that the bridge comprises a serial combination of diagonal cable-stayed sections (4) and a suspension bridge part (5), the main suspension cable (2) being comprised of at least one centric main suspension cable, the bridge deck (6) comprising two or more separate decks arranged with constant or varying distance there between, the two or more bridge deck being connected with crossbeams (7) or other strutting, the diagonal cable-stays (8) and suspension hangers being fixed to the crossbeams or other strutting or the bridge decks, the suspension hangers, main suspension cable and the crossbeams or other strutting forming a triangular structural system in a vertical plane transversely of the bridge.
