The object of the invention is to dose the aqueous solution of urea (AdBlue) in a selective catalytic reduction method (SRC),as a reducing factor in the selective catalytic reduction reactor (SRC),an internal combustion engine installed in the exhaust system. The method of dosing the aqueous solution of urea in the gaseous phase is characterised b y a liquid reducing agent favourably placed in an isolated thermal container (1),is injected with an injector (2) into the evaporator chamber (3),where it is subjected to preliminary heating and evaporation at temperatures from 80 to 300-C, and then produced by a thermally insulated conductor (4),to a low pressure mixer (5),where it is mixed with the exhaust before the catalytic selective reduction reactor (6) and the mixed gases are introduced into the catalytic reduction selective reactor (6),where nitrogen oxides are reduced as a result of a chemical reaction. The invention is also an aqueous metering system of a gaseous urea solution, consisting of a liquid reducing agent tank, an exhaust system and a selective catalytic reduction reactor, having a thermally isolated reservoir (1) connected by a tube (7) with an injector (2) located in a vapour chamber (3)connected by an isolated wire (4) with a mixer (5),placed in front of a catalytic selective reduction reactor (6).
