METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF COMPLICATED CARIES IN PERMANENT TEETH WITH A WIDE FORAMEN APEX AND AT THE STAGE OF ROOT FORMATION

A method for treatment of complicated caries in permanent teeth with a wide foramen apex and at the stage of root formation includes instrumental and pharmacological treatment of root canals and filling thereof with compounds based on calcium ions. Following the instrumental and pharmacological treatment of root canal, the apical portion of the tooth root is filled with a treatment composition on the basis of calcium hydroxyapatite, a medicinal agent for revitalization and bioreparation of periapical and soft tissues of the mouth, polyvinylpyrrolidone 40% and barium sulphate; the cavity is filled with a temporary filling with subsequent clinical and radiological control. Furthermore, the root canal is filled with gutta percha pins and sealer from the border of the apical seal to the mouth of the canal, the coronal part of the tooth is restored using composite light-curing filling materials.
