A method for thermomechanical processing of shell low carbon microalloyed steel with formation of austenite poligonized substructure comprising the heating and soaking of slabs, roughing-down and finishing rolling to required thickness followed by retarded cooling, wherein at first the end temperature of roughing-down is decreased to 850 °C due to increase the fractional deformation and then the decreased to temperature of starting finishing rolling by system of accelerated laminar water cooling.
