The present disclosure relates to a photobioreactor plant (10, 110) for the culture of photosynthetic microorganisms and/or mixed populations of photosynthetic and non-photosynthetic microorganisms and/or plant cells. The photobioreactor plant includes a lifting and movement system (30, 130) provided with one or more lifting wires (12, 14, 116, 117). One or more lifting wires (12, 14, 116, 117) are connected to at least casing-photobioreactor (11) and each casing-photobioreactor (11) includes a casing or bag (112) and a reinforcing or tensioning frame (120) which surrounds a portion of the bag or casing (112). The portion of the bag provided or associated with said reinforcing or tensioning frame (120) is connected to said one or more lifting wires (12, 14, 116, 117). The portion of the bag provided or associated with the said reinforcing or tensioning frame (120) is raised and/or lowered by means of said one or more lifting wires (12, 14, 116, 117).
