The present invention relates to a new type of support for an electrical connection. The object of the present invention is to provide the market with a new type of movable interface for fastening, supporting and making an electrical connection between junction boxes and equipment to be installed thereon, amongst other useful devices. The present invention discloses a new type of socket and plug capable of achieving electrical connection and/or engagement between lighting equipment and/or other types of devices with junction boxes on ceilings, walls and/or with any other type of non-conventional support. The device of the invention is composed of two modules comprising a set of electromechanical engagement and disengagement systems, male and female, comprising essentially a movable support interface, which system performs the tasks of fastening/releasing, supporting, connecting/disconnecting the electrical current, adaptation and adjustment for various types of useful equipment.
