A new energy-based hybrid bidirectional interactive DC traction power supply system, which is provided with two traction substations (1), wherein each traction substation (1) comprises transformers (11, 17), a rectifier (12), a bidirectional AC-DC convertor (18), a DC bus (13), an overhead contact system (14), a steel rail (15) and a section post (16). A DC new energy system (3) which is composed of an electric vehicle charging and discharging system, a distributed power supply and more than one low-voltage DC micro-grid (31) is arranged on the DC bus (13) between the two adjacent traction substations (1); and the DC new energy system (3) is connected to the DC buses (13) of the two adjacent traction substations (1) through a high-voltage DC bus (4), so that a DC loop micro-grid (31) is formed in a power supply zone, wherein the electric vehicle charging and discharging system is composed of more than one bidirectional DC-DC charger-discharger (32) which is used for connecting the power battery of an electric vehicle.
