An objective of the present invention is to detect a change in time series of the quality of a document arising from a transition in time series. Provided is a document classification investigation system which: acquires digital information which is recorded upon a plurality of computers or servers; extracts documents from document information which is included in the acquired digital information and which is configured from a plurality of documents; computes, for the extracted documents, scores in time series indicating the strength of the link between the documents and classification symbols; detects a change of score in time series from the computed scores; and investigates the relevance of an investigation case and the extracted documents from the detected change of score in time series.
