The present invention relates to a high and low voltage switchboard for maximizing operating efficiency using renewable energy power and a method for controlling the same. An existing system, which is connected with a grid to operate renewable energy, blocks power generated from even a renewable energy source to prevent an accident when there is a blackout in an electricity provider. However, renewable energy power may be wasted as a grid connection system is blocked even though there is no actual blackout in the electricity provider. Also, an uninterruptible power supply device is used in an emergency in a manner of supplying emergency power to a key load when there is a blackout in the electricity provider. However, the uninterruptible power supply device is rarely used except for the emergency, which is deemed inefficient. To prevent the inefficiency, the high and low voltage switchboard for maximizing operating efficiency using renewable energy power is capable of: determining whether there is a blackout in a superordinate inlet line to be connected to a B-grid or an n-grid from an existing A- grid when there is a blackout in a grid connection line; constantly supplying renewable energy power to a commercial load to improve power generation efficiency; and storing the renewable energy power in a battery in prevention of the blackout in the electricity provider to replace the uninterruptible power supply device so that the renewable energy power can be supplied to the key load using power of the battery in an emergency, thereby bringing energy reduction effects and cost saving effects.
