SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION USING PORTABLE TERMINAL

A safety management system of building construction using a portable terminal includes: at least one field work terminal for executing a safety management application providing safety management information and work status information; a location recognition server for acquiring location information of the field work terminal by performing wireless communication with the field work terminal; a safety management server which stores work information and safety management information including danger items per work types and danger items per section, and receives user information of the field work terminal where the application is executed and the location information from the location recognition server periodically; and a field management terminal which updates the safety management information and the work status information to the safety management server. The field work terminal includes: a safety management application execution module which executes the safety management application using the user information; a safety information receiving module which receives the safety management information and the work status information from the safety management server; an information providing module for displaying the information received through the safety information receiving module; and a received information checking module for informing the safety management server of whether the received safety management information and the received work status information are checked.
