The present invention relates to an air gun for arresting a criminal and, more particularly, to an air gun (1) which sprays compressed gas stored in a gas tank (10) through a barrel (40) by the operation of a control valve (30) that is opened and closed by controlling a trigger group (20). A pair of bores (43) is formed inside the barrel (40) at an acute angle by dividing the barrel into two. A pair of bullets (50) which is connected with each other by a rope (60) is loaded at the fore-end of the bore (43). Therefore, the air gun for arresting a criminal can easily arrest a criminal and can ensure the safety of passersby around an escape route as well as the criminal, by shooting toward the lower body of the escaping criminal in order to obstruct the escape of the criminal by the rope (60) connected with the pair of bullets (50) and finally in order to induce the falling of the criminal.
